CNMPU (Certified Natural Meat Program)

A first shipment of 3 tons of meat under the Never Ever certification to the United States was made. This certification is part of the Certified Natural Meat Program of Uruguay (CNMPU), ensured by compliance with the protocol, the animals whose meat culminate in this market under the name Never Ever, did not receive antibiotics, hormones or proteins of origin animal. The certification, which is voluntary, is done at the level of agricultural plants and cold stores. This action will create a new opportunity for Uruguayan beef and involves the assurance on the access to markets that various government agencies in Uruguay are promoting.
